At TVRC, tradition is at the heart of our program and our community, on and off the Ranch. One of our more recent TVRC traditions is the Mid-Summer Party. The exciting news is that the Mid-Summer Party is back again this year with a very special theme and purpose. We’re not only going to be celebrating another great summer season and spending time with campers, families, and alumni, as great as that is; we’ll also be celebrating 80 years of operation!
In the 80 years since TVRC was founded in Kelly with a few dozen boys from all over the United States, not much has changed. To this day, Boys’ and Girls’ Season Campers are brought together by a shared desire to experience the spirit of the American West, learn horsemanship, develop backcountry skills, and to pack their summer full of friendship and real adventure.
We’ll be hosting this event right in the heart of Jackson on a lawn nestled between two of the oldest buildings in the town of Jackson. With food and drinks provided by Café Genevieve, and of course music including all of the old camp favorites!
Bring the whole family and come celebrate with us! Swing by for a bit or stay for the whole shindig. Details are below, please RSVP via our Eventbrite page, linked here.
We’re looking forward to seeing our TVRC family this summer and celebrating the last 80 years and looking forward with strength to lead and faith to follow in the next 80.
